The atmosphere at Fresh FM Ibadan’s Ayefele Music House was filled with excitement on Thursday as renowned broadcaster, Mayor Isaac Brown, celebrated two significant milestones with the acquisition of a 2020 Range Rover Velar P380 HSE X-Dynamic.
The new luxury vehicle was unveiled to commemorate his wife’s birthday and his recent recognition as the City People Magazine International Icon of Media Award 2026 recipient.
The award was presented in Lagos on Sunday, July 5, in honour of his outstanding contributions to broadcast journalism in Nigeria. The date also coincided with his wife’s birthday, making the celebration even more memorable.
To further celebrate the double achievement, the Chairman of Fresh FM Nigeria, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, MON, hosted the veteran broadcaster, fondly known as “The Mayor,” to a colourful reception at the station’s premises in Challenge, Ibadan. Colleagues, friends and well-wishers gathered to felicitate with him, creating a festive atmosphere at the media house.
