Ogunsola Sweeps ADC House of Reps Primary in Oluyole with Massive Victory

Hon. Olusina John Ogunsola has emerged as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Oluyole Federal Constituency after securing a massive victory in the party’s House of Representatives primary election held in Oluyole.
The primary election, monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security personnel, was described by party leaders and delegates as peaceful, transparent and well coordinated.
Ogunsola polled a massive 1,631 votes to defeat his closest rivals, Hon. Adeniran Olaide, who got  88 votes, and Hon. Adetunji Francis, who garnered 68 votes.
Delegates and stakeholders at the venue commended the orderly conduct of the exercise, noting that the presence of INEC officials and security operatives further enhanced the credibility of the primary election.
Speaking shortly after being declared winner, Ogunsola appreciated delegates, party leaders and supporters for what he described as a “historic mandate.” He said,
“This victory belongs to the people of Oluyole who desire credible leadership, effective representation and sustainable development,”
“I am sincerely humbled by the confidence of party faithful in me.The huge support shown today reflects our shared commitment to a better future for the constituency.”
The ADC flagbearer also appealed for unity among party members ahead of the general election.
“I extend my hand of fellowship to my fellow aspirants and their supporters. This is the time for us to come together as one united family with a common goal of delivering quality representation to the people of Oluyole,” Ogunsola added.
