The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and its governorship candidate in Oyo State, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, have denied any involvement in the destruction of billboards belonging to Senator Sharafadeen Alli, describing attempts to link them to the incident as unfounded.

In a disclaimer issued in response to a statement circulating from Senator Alli’s campaign council, the group maintained that Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Adekanmbi and the APM had no connection with the alleged act.

It urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) to look inward and address any unresolved issues within its ranks rather than repeatedly implicating the APM whenever incidents of political attacks occur.

The group also reassured residents of Oyo State of its commitment to peace and urged the public to disregard what it described as negative reports being circulated against the APM and its candidates.
