Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has described the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, as one of the few political figures in Oyo State who have remained consistent and loyal to the ideals of the party despite changing political tides.
In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Print Media, Moses Alao, Governor Makinde said Arapaja’s political journey from serving as a former deputy governor, House of Representatives member, and diplomat eflects rare political stability and enduring commitment to public service.
The governor noted that Arapaja has continued to play a stabilizing role in the PDP both in Oyo State and nationally, even amid internal party challenges, commending his efforts at promoting unity and sustaining democratic values.
Makinde congratulated the party chieftain on his 67th birthday, praying for his continued strength and wisdom to further contribute to the progress of Oyo State, the PDP, and Nigeria.
