President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commenced official engagements in the United Kingdom alongside First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, following an invitation from King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
The President and his wife arrived on Tuesday for the two-day state visit and were received at their hotel by a delegation of top government officials.
Among those on hand to welcome the presidential couple were Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris, Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dele Alake, and Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim.
The visit is expected to further strengthen diplomatic and bilateral relations between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, with key engagements lined up during the President’s stay.
