The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, on Thursday morning visited the Olubadan-designate, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, at his residence in Ibadan.
The courtesy visit came shortly after the former governor’s official confirmation and approval as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, a development that has continued to attract goodwill messages from across the state and beyond.
Speaking during the visit, Ogundoyin described Oba Ladoja as a man of grace and providence, noting that his ascension to the revered throne was a moment of “joy, pride, and reverence” for the entire people of Ibadanland.
He further praised the monarch as a statesman of wisdom whose reign he said will bring peace, unity, and progress to Ibadanland, as he expressed heartfelt congratulations of the Oyo State House of Assembly and the people of the state to Oba Rashidi Ladoja.
