The late Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, mother of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, will be laid to rest in Abuja today, Sunday.
According to a statement issued by Bello El-Rufai, who represents Kaduna North in the House of Representatives, the Janazah (funeral) prayer will be held at the National Mosque Abuja at 1:00 p.m., immediately after the Zuhr prayer.
The statement noted that following the prayers, the remains of the deceased will be taken to Gudu Cemetery for interment in accordance with Islamic rites.
Announcing the burial arrangements on behalf of the family, Bello El-Rufai expressed appreciation for the support and condolences received during the period of mourning.
He prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus.
