The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has urged Nigerians to report any of its officers involved in extortion, harassment, or other forms of misconduct.
In a video released on Wednesday, the commission said its leadership, under Chairman Ola Olukoyede, maintains a zero tolerance policy toward corruption and indiscipline within the agency.
To strengthen accountability, the anti graft body said members of the public can submit complaints through designated complaint desks located at EFCC directorates across the country or through the commission’s official complaint portal on its website.
The commission also encouraged citizens to use the EFCC Eagle mobile application available on major app stores, send emails to dei@efcc.gov.ng, or report through the dedicated phone line 07058937203.
However, the EFCC warned that only verified and evidence-based complaints would be investigated, stressing that false or malicious allegations could attract legal consequences.
The commission added that disciplinary actions are regularly taken against erring personnel.
It noted that in January 2025, 27 officers were dismissed over alleged misconduct, while two others were sacked in November 2024 following corruption-related allegations.
