The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed broadcast journalist and media professional, Faysol Oluwakemi, popularly known as “IreNiTiwa,” as Vice Chairman, Media and Publicity of its Ibadan Southwest Local Government 2027 Campaign Committee.
Oluwakemi’s appointment was announced on Wednesday during the inauguration of the campaign committee in Ibadan, though absent at the ceremony.
In his new role, Oluwakemi is expected to support the committee’s media engagements, publicity, digital communication and public information activities as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.
A broadcast journalist and development practitioner, Oluwakemi has over a decade of experience in broadcasting, media production, public communication and event presentation.
He is also involved in youth and grassroots development initiatives.
His appointment comes after he previously sought the APC ticket to contest for the Ibadan Southwest Constituency I seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The inauguration marks the formal commencement of activities of the Ibadan Southwest APC 2027 Campaign Committee as the party begins its preparations for the elections.
