The African Democratic Congress (ADC) family in Oyo State has congratulated Hon. Dr Alagbe Gbemileke “Eleniyan” on his emergence as winner of the party’s primary election, stressing that the victory is a clear revelation of the confidence that party members have in his leadership capacity, grassroots strength and commitment to people oriented governance.
Hon. Gbemileke Alagbe, popularly known as “Eleniyan,” secured victory after the conclusion of the party’s primary election held across the wards and local government areas of Oyo State, supervised by party officials and monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)..
The exercise indicated massive participation of delegates and party faithful across the state,where Eleniyan’s emergence is being celebrated by supporters and stakeholders within the ADC party seen as a major propeller for the party towards the 2027 general elections.
Political observers have continued to see him as one of the prominent grassroots mobilisers in Oyo State politics with strong, youth support and wide acceptance across different political blocs..
The ADC chieftain has consistently canvassed for people centred leadership, economic resuscitation, job creation, improved welfare for workers and inclusive governance in Oyo State.m that cut across all residents and indigenes of the state. He has repeatedly assured residents that ADC party remains a credible alternative platform capable of delivering purposeful leadership and good governance. 
Speaking after the declaration of results, Eleniyan appreciated party leaders, delegates, supporters, youths, women groups and stakeholders who stood by him throughout the process calling for unity among all members of the party, stressing that the victory belongs to the entire ADC family and the people of Oyo State who are seeking for genuine change.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to running a people driven political movement that focused on development, empowerment, security, education, healthcare and economic opportunities for all residents of the state.
