The Federal Character Commission (FCC), Oyo State, led by Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, has intensified enforcement of fairness and equity in federal appointments, declaring zero tolerance for job, racketeering.
Speaking in Ibadan, the commissioner said decisive steps have been taken to reposition the Commission into a more transparent and impactful institution.

Aleshinloye highlighted key reforms, including the facelift of the state office, aggressive public sensitisation, and strengthened monitoring systems to ensure compliance with federal character principles across institutions
He stressed that strict adherence is critical to promoting national unity and equal representation, disclosing that the Commission is enforcing its mandate on equitable distribution of infrastructure and social amenities across federal, state and local government levels, with renewed focus on grassroots development.
The commissioner, also praised Executive Chairman, Ayo Hulayat Omidiran, for her leadership, noting that the launch of a digital platform has enhanced monitoring, reporting and recruitment transparency nationwide.
