Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has announced the appointment of Deolu Ijose as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, following the recent reconstitution of the company’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Ijose succeeds Francis Agoha and brings extensive experience in the power sector, having previously served as Managing Director of Benin Electricity Distribution Company and as Chief Commercial Officer at IBEDC.
The Board expressed confidence in his capacity to build on existing gains and drive improved operational performance. In his acceptance, Mr. Ijose pledged to prioritise efficiency, strengthen commercial operations, and enhance service delivery through teamwork and accountability.
